BTDT! I had all 4 cutout & stitched at the same setting. Between the local & all of the blood that I swallowed I was one sore & sick dude for the rest of the day.

All 4 for me at the same time too. Woke up several times thru the operation, swear that doc was standing in the middle of my chest one time trying to yank one out. Other than that, it wasn't to bad.

I had all 4 of mine cut out at he same time when I was home from college on spring break years ago. When I came to, my language was anything but favorable, which definately impressed my mom, not!! Then when I went back to Purdue they became infected. Couldn't eat anything for a week, flat on my back. Overall not a good experience, glad I don't have to do that again.

Yep ... they put me out to. My brilliant dr. neglected to take precautions to avoid infection and by the time they caught it I was pretty bad. I about made the ER nurse sick when she looked at it. Couple aggressive rounds of antibiotics and a few shots and I was good as new.

Had all four of mine pulled while I was in boot camp....now that was not fun!!! Especially when they missed one of the stitches and it got infected right before graduation-just about didn't graduate with the rest of my platoon. Can still remember the dentist saying "No pain just pressure, no pain just pressure....." He was real close to finding to out what "just pressure" could do

Had a ll four of mine out at once as well. The dentist said he would take the hard ones out first, 40 minutes later I had one more to go. 3 hours later he finally got the "easy" one out! He is a good dentist, but I swear he used a monster maul to hold my mouth open! I had lived in pain for years, and never realized it until those teeth were gone.

My Brother-In-Law is a Dentist & he told me once that it is rare that someone retains ALL of their Wisdom Teeth.

I'm 31. Never had a wisdom tooth pulled. I've got ONE that is barely exposed on my upper right side, and has been that way for years. No issues with it yet and it's the only one that has even started to show itself.

Mine was like that too Sas. I don't know how much jawbone he took but it feels like enough this morning. Surprisingly I actually slept a little last night. The Japanese dentists aren't too big on knocking you out, so I was awake the whole time. He let me wear my Ipod though. Right in the middle of Lyle Lovett's "If I had a Boat" I heard quite a pop/crunch sound and the hard part was over. I now have an intimate knowledge of the phrase "like pulling teeth" Good to hear your experiences as well. Glad I didn't have all four done at once though!

All of mine were in and straight... Just not enough room for them... Got them all pulled in the same sitting, and no stitches... Holes healed up on their own...

My friend Paul was 18 when he got out of AF boot, first assignment was the Philippines. The day after he got there they made him go to dental for a "check up" and he came out of the office with ice packs all over head. Pulled all four. Hard to find sympathy in a sea of Leathernecks and old salty Air Force guys. ;D
