I have had a gravity type feeder in my storage area for the last year and just today decided to place it in the woods on the farm I hunt.
Got it in place about Eleven AM and put about 250 lbs of corn in the bin. Also put out a large lick block of Hi pro and molasses, right beside the feeder.
Went back by the woods at Five PM ,looked at the feeder with binoculars and much to my surprise there were 4 Deer and 3 Turkeys feeding on the corn. Due to size,One could have been a nice buck with no rack.

I usually use a feeder during the winter. It's amazing how quick they find it.
I put it close to my house so I can watch them aroiund it when there's no hunting seasons open and nothing much else to do.
