I have the picture on an email and it is a freakin creature. Cant get the pictures to paste over on this site but here is the story:
This buck green scores 203 Typical, NET, not gross. If so, this would place this buck in the top three typicals all time in Wisconsin , and that includes the great Jordan Buck at 207 that was world record for decades.
These pictures were taken in front of the Cabela's store in Prairie du Chien. The hunter shown in the picture a 15 year old Williams boy from Millville , WI . The deer was shot between Millville and Woodman. The buck was shot with a rifle during the youth hunt in early October. This deer has 16 inch tines. The manager at Cabelas offered him $25,000 on the spot the day the pictures were taken. Cabela's offer included making a replica set of antlers that look identical to the originals and the hunter would be able to keep the cape. The boy and his father turned down that offer. The manager then called the Cabelas headquarters in Nebraska and immediately got permission to offer the boy $61,000 for the rack. He still said no.

Anytime I read a story that includes the "cabelas offered $XXX for the antlers" I immediately dismiss it as false.

You have to have your images hosted on a site like Photobucket, then copy the image tag and paste it here to post pictures.

Wow! What a beast! As far as B&C goes, the stickers and relatively short brows would keep the buck from breaking 200 net. But who cares; "Perfect" typicals like the Hanson or Jordan bucks are the true freaks, not non-typicals. Besides, he's a Wisconsin deer and might get a little bigger body on him. They should have passed him.... let him grow up. He would have been a good one in a couple of years.

Cabela's would have been the proud new owner of a deer rack, $61,000 and a replica! I would have then walked in and spent a 1/4 of it in the store!

Long beams, long tines and enough of them to make a 200" deer. That sure spoiled that young deer hunter.

If that buck has 16in 2's then his 3's are just as longs or close ,that's almost 64 inches in 4 tines. Looks like 8 or 9 in g4's for 16 or 18 more inches, can't see the 1's real good so 7 or 8 more inches for those. Main beams are what, 27? Gotta be close or over 200'

I read the article a while back in Field & Stream Online. F&S also quoted the Cabelas offer.
Heck, I would have taken $1000 and a replica.
