I just read a Q & A in the ask CO forum regarding antlered & antlerless deer. Who all here has taken a doe with antlers? I haven't, but a son in law took a "button" doe several years back.

Buddy of mine shot a 3 point doe up at Hovey F&W a couple of years ago with a gun. It was still in velvet.

The very first antlered deer I ever shot with a bow turned out to be a 6 point Doe. I thought it was odd as he/she was approaching me with 2 yearling/fawns in tow, needless to say I was shocked when I began to field dress the deer and found out it had utters.

I killed a slickhead a few years ago that had all the male parts. No buttons or any sign of antlers.
