I have read many times in many different magazines and videos of course of where the next world record will come from..Just wondering where some of you think it will come from. In my opinion Texas has alot of big deer and so does Canada but you just never know.

I believe someone ran a poll on here about a year ago and Saskatchewan got the most votes IIRC.

Hopefully it will not come from Texas with their high fence, feeder deer. Canada sound good to me.

My guesses in descending order.....1- Illinois, 2-Iowa, 3- Saskatchewan, 4- Ohio, 5- Kansas. If it comes from Indiana, I will eat my hat!

If were talking free ranging, then my guess would have to be Game Trails in Kentucky?

Dunno about this... how many bucks can deer hunters take in Kansas? That is where I think the next WR will come from. When I talked to Myles Keller at the ATA he said he glassed what he considered as a new world record there. The only problem is it was on ground that he could not hunt. One thing for sure he knows world class bucks.

Its really hard to say. There are 6 states that could easliy have it walking around right now along with Alberta or Saskatchewan.

My ranking would be; Alberta, Saskatchewan, Iowa, Kansas, then Illinois.
But in reality, top bucks are like 7' tall humans. They are freaks of nature and could actually pop up about anywhere that produces big deer, Indiana included.

I would say Sask, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas and have been seeing alot of monsters lately from New Brunswick I think. Indiana is not out of the question. Not non-typical but typical is possible.
