A week or two ago I requested assistance in "scouting" this property my parents recently purchased. It's about 20 acres almost entirely of woods. I have hopefully attached an image for others to comment on. The yellow denotes a house and pole barn. The gray is driveway. The solid green is grass, no trees. The blue is the property line. The red indicates deer trails I found in the spring...and where I've seen highest tracks/activity. These trails aren't exact and are approximate. The two red dots are where my stands are placed. The red circle is the one place I have jumped deer bedded down. [/img] I would appreciate any thoughts or comments you all can offer. I'm new at this (hunting) so I welcome all commentary. Thanks. Pinch point between the field of grass and the creek , easy in and out without spooking deer.

I agree, but the problem is that there is only 50-75 yards b/w house and creek. My parents have seen deer cross there, but it is rare.

Go for it set up on the east side of the pinch point.
