I was just stating what I noticed after hunting them for 10 or so years and killing a couple of dozen in Southern Indiana. We shot them at night, sat in stands over cornfields for them, tracked them in the snow, trapped them and chased them with dogs a few times. An over population of anything will cause property damage, I just didn't see anything other than some rooted up cornfields in our area. Heck, I'm sure several of them were coming off or heading to Woodys place.

it is way to cold to have alligators Thats not my problem.....the DNR needs to figure it out! Indiana ranks last on Boone & Crocket alligator production.....THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! I bet if we would put a one alligator rule in place and then further limit hunting opportunities ...................oh well...........................forget it!

Not getting into the MILLIONS OF DOLLARS in damages to property that hogs cost property owners in this country again...did it one other time and it turned into a ing match. Do yourself and this board a favor and GOOGLE: Damages caused by wild hogs and educate yourself. Thats not my problem.....the DNR needs to figure it out! Indiana ranks last on Boone & Crocket wild hog production.....THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! I bet if we would put a one hog rule in place and then further limit hunting opportunities ...................oh well...........................forget it!

Good points Camby. Now remove your hand from that mouse, pick up your bow and head to the woods. And just to clear a couple things, We are tied with Alaska on the alligator list and with Florida on the elk one. ;D

Don't forget moose, black bear and fisher cats. Indiana doesn't have any of those either! Still haven't seen a fisher up here, but I'm sure I eventually will.

Can't say that I've been in the woods long enough to see much for myself, but I can say somethin' about the coyote population here. Too many! (and yet they still manage to evade my sights)

I think we should bring a native population of zebras back to Indiana.

I think we should bring a native population of zebras back to Indiana. OK by me.. Which one was it? The Plains Zebra, Grevy's Zebra or the Mountain Zebra? Will we have a OZR?

Heck! I'd just like to see quail & rabbit on a regular basis again.......... ME TOO! I wish rabbits & quail were as plentiful as they were back in the '60 to early '70's.

That would be the mountain zebra of the southwest Woody. Get ready! They're coming to an area near you!!

Heck! I'd just like to see quail & rabbit on a regular basis again.......... Interesting comment - being as I'm not a native I figured it was just the way IN is, always though rabbits were thin here; different areas/states hold different kinds of game and all that.
