Shame on Indiana and it's DNR.....after all we don't have
Wolf Packs
or a
Elk Herd
or a
Mountian Lions
or a
Them wild Goat / Sheep things
or a
Wild Hogs
or a
Mule Deer Herd
or a
Very many wild Pheasants
or a
Aligators
There are alot of things "other states" have that we don't.............including a trophy behind every tree.
Shame on our DNR!

Now wait a min.Last year 2 boys shot an Alligator in the Iroquois river. This past summer everybody said they saw a Mountain lion. We don't need Wolfs we have to many Coyote the way it is. And as far as Pheasants are concerned I saw one 2 years ago.
If we had all the animals you mentioned we probably would harvest them into extinction.......again.

Im already worried enough about a rutting buck attacking me lol I dont need to be watching every inch of brush to make sure a wolf or mountain lion arent hunting me. I like indiana for that you can trust your kids or who ever to walk through the woods and not get mauled and besides just think about some of our populated areas like hamilton county were I hunt...people complain about coyotes gettin there cats let alone a wolf pack stealing there kids and elk also couldnt survivce unless the were in southern indiana and as far as alligators go i think snappers are plenty of dangerous game for a river. lol

Actually, a dead wolf was found near Ft. Wayne a year so ago. It had been tagged in Wisconsin and was believed to have come down along the shore of Lake Michigan. It was the first confirmed wolf in Indiana since about 1850, which was right around the same time the last wild black bear was seen in Indiana...

Don't worry Renegade, you're young and in shape, you could out run one for 40-50 yards! And remember, you don't have to be faster than the cougar, just faster than your buddy that is with you! ;d

There's hogs in S. IN but I don't think anyone in their right mind really wants them there.

I've seen the hog population in part of S. Indiana peak (I believe) in a pretty concentrated area and did not notice any negative effects from them

Dogs that are allowed to run loose are a lot more unpredictable than any wolfs, mountain lions or coyotes. Exactly!...A domestic dog is the most un-predictable animal in the woods..They do more damage to wildlife than any other animal in Indiana..I've seen it countless times..pack of 4 dogs chasing deer to death, killing baby fawns, killing poult turkeys, racoons, opposum, rabbit and the list could go on...It's really out of control , but it's not politically correct to stand against it!! Irresponsible pet owners should be ticketed and fined..!!

Not getting into the MILLIONS OF DOLLARS in damages to property that hogs cost property owners in this country again...did it one other time and it turned into a ing match. Do yourself and this board a favor and GOOGLE: Damages caused by wild hogs and educate yourself.

Kill them on sight..
