I dont personally know but from what I have read you can have a chance with rattling because bucks that still wanna bread will think hey there fighting over one of the few remaining.Im actual bow hunting tomorrow since i filled my buck tag with a ml ill be goin after my urban deer zone buck and ill probaly try my luck with some horns.

kdog8173 like I said im going by field and strem THE RUT and they said rattling works in late season bc bucks are l;ooking for the remaining hot does and they think that two bucks are fighting for a doe so they will come in but by now 70percent of bucks probably have breeding off there mind and also remeber calls prob only work 20 percent of the time no matter what season.

I have found that being a ghost works well - no calling, no rattling, quiet...

Mix it up as you never know what a deer is going to respond to in the late season...
