I've been reading a lot of books and magazines since shooting primitive is new to me. I'm a little confused as to the debate on 2 blade v. 3 blade broadheads. I talked to an "oldtimer" at the range (shooting a beautiful custom osage longbow) and he swears to stick with a 2 blade. I talked with another fella and he says his best success has come with the 3 blade G5 by Montec or the Muzzys. The material I'm reading seems to lean toward 2 blades. I'm pulling back 50# on a recurve. Is there really much difference? more stigma to shooting primitive with a 2 blade? any difference with penetration or pass through?

most important it be sharp... i have found 2 blade to be the best for me . far more forgiving if you have a bad release or whatevere . not that that ever happens when the big boy walks by ....lol
