Hey, I hear they got that internet thing down in KY, so don't be a stranger...
I think they've got some elk now in the part of the state... my buddy's wife is from down that way, so as boone said, let us know whereabouts and we can probably get you the skinny...

Here's an article from Kentucky Game & Fish: www.kentuckygameandfish.com/hunting/whitetail-deer-hunting/KY_1105_01/index3.htmlQuote from the article: "Not in this decade has Lewis County failed to put a trophy buck in the book, until last season. Fluke? Probably. Lewis County is on and at the top of about every kind of trophy buck list of Bluegrass State whitetails out there, not matter what year you check."A lot of guys who visit this site hunt Kentucky and would be interested in reports from that area. So keep in touch!

Fantastic deer hunting in Lewis County. Lewis Co. sits just across the Ohio River from Adams County, OH....home of the incredible Amish buck of 2006. Get your hill climbing boots on as you'll find the rolling hills of Lewis County to be a challenge! I lived not far from that area for 8 years and had many friends that ventured across the river into Lewis Co. for hunting and they always had great success. You'll be in outdoors heaven compared to Kokomo!!! You also have Cave Run lake which is near Morehead, which is known as the Musky Capital of the South..... phenominal fishing lake!
I envy your move!!!! Enjoy!!!!
