Here is the view from my spot standing on the side of a hill that runs down to a creek bottom. I was simply standing behind a large tree. This is looking off to my left. I didn't see any deer, but I did see a couple of tree rats... While there can be a desolate feel to the woods this time of year, there is a quiet beauty as well. A feeling of peace; the closest I can come to describing it is that the woods feels "asleep." i55.photobucket.com/albums/g160/Klemford/decemberwoods.jpg[/IMG]Here is a view out in front. I am about halfway down the hill, and you can see the creek winding down through the bottom. It averages 7-10 feet wide, if you want some perspective.

You certainly live in a beautiful area. Reminds me of the area I use to hunt in Ky. Wish I lived in such a place too. Thanks for sharing your photos.
