Indy has 50,000 + FFA kids coming to town! What are we to do!
Ramp up security! Maybe activate the National Guard.
This sea of blue jackets will descend on the town and likely build some houses, politely interact with the citizens of Indy, and make a general blessing of themselves!
Reckon they'll get as much press as some of the other events that are such a "boost" to our community?
Don't read anything into this that I am not saying...... but I'm probably thinking what most other are. parson

Speaking from my experience as "the press" : We love the FFA kids! The convention is the largest convention in the city each year they are here. Yes, the downtown establishments are PACKED, but those kids are well behaved, polite, and they roll into town with a pocket full of money and spend, spend, spend! We do several stories throughout the week on their convention, and everytime I've had to cover them it's been a very easy assignment. They are welcome here anytime IMO!

Bring on the country boys and gals! And yes... some of them are country "wanna bes" from the cities and burbs and that's just fine by me!
