Went out this morning and had three does come through but to far out to take a shot as i was hunting with my bow....about ten minutes later i heard crunching to my left and there he was...he walked right down the path to me and i took the shot at 7yrds. He went about 40yrds behind me and he was down...Nice 9 point with decent mass no monster by no means but good enough...wasnt able to get pics as i was about an hour and a half from home so i just went ahead and took him to the locker...i do plan on getting him mounted so i will post pics whenever i get him back. If anyway was wondering these deer came through at about 8:30

Wow, you heard crunching. If you were anywhere near here it would have been more like splash, splash. Congratulations.

Well the crunching i heard wasnt from the ice or snow.....it was from him stepping on twigs and breaking them!! it was pretty soggy around here to!
