I've seen plenty of procupines while hunting out west, but had never seen one here in IN, nor talked with anyone who had.
One day last week, driving along a country blacktop just after dark, there was a small porcupine waddling along in the headlights! Looked about half the size of a full-grown one, similar to the size relationship of this year's 'coon to an adult one.
Anyone else see one in these parts?

I know up in Michigan they are considered a nuisance but have never seen one around my place. on a side note I was sitting in a stand just south of Beaufort on a hog hunt Sat night and saw my first "wild" armadillo-which are considered nuisances down here ....and that was the only thing I saw all night. Hopefully I'll get another chance tonight!
