I hate to hear that, I havent had much luck even seein any quality deer yet, I hunt several public areas and have managed to finally lock down one private farm. I hunt in Borden, Starlight, Henryville, and in Underwood and in every spot I havent seen but a few small doe and a couple scruffy bucks so far. The sign is there but the deer Im lookin for arent. I just havent found the right time they are coming thru I guess. Well good luck to you

I hunt clark co. during bow season on private land. I've taken 4 does and seen a lot of bucks. None of the bucks would be wall hangers necessarily, but I'm sure that'll change as the end of all seasons comes to a close. This has been my best archery season ever, and I think primarily because of the amount of time I've spent in the woods. During firearms season, I'll be on public land. Normally, I hunt Harrison / Crawford and have always harvested successfully. Again, not really wall hangers, but successful hunts, meat in the freezer, no wasted tag. I think it's a matter of going where others are not as willilng to go. I've met plenty of people out there, and they're all fine folks up to this point. I think the big boys are big boys for a reason, and you won't see them, until they make a mistake. And then you won't see them after that either, because they're gone. But if you go where the does are, then the boys will show up, because boys will be boys, and you can't get what the does got, anywhere else. Good luck to you, and have a safe, successful season.

Well continue the good luck ! Sounds like the season started off with a bang for u. Im on public land too bow and firearms but Ihave seen some does, but I havent been in the woods to often this year, Hopefully that will change and I can get on some nice deer, buck or doe I just want to fill my tag and get some in the freezer myself. Im thinkin of tryin out the Harrison/crawford this firearms season myself, seems like there are a lot of ppl in the neck of the woods I hunt now and Im sure there will be more when gun comes in. Thanks for your post, and again continue a great season !

Good luck to u on fillin ur tag in the closin days of the season, I hunted in the Clark state forest a few times this yr saw several deer durin bow season but couldnt get any in range, I killed a nice 9 point in the Deam Lake Recreation area in Borden this yr on November 18th but havent had much time or luck since then. I used to hunt in Scott County Underwood area but lost the land over the property owners passin away. Good deer in that area wish I still had permission out there
