2shotjoe and I will both be in the red zone. We had a couple of buddies that hunted the first day of the last hunt and they both left empty handed.

We were drawn for the November hunt. We didn't hunt the first day due to weather and some prior commitments. We went back the second day and my dad killed a giant 8 point. Looks like its going to score in the 140's. Has 23 inch main beams, 11 and 11 1/2 inch G2's, 5 1/2 inch bases and he's over 4 inches at the end of his beams. They had 39 deer killed the first day by 199 hunters and when we left on Tuesday we were the first deer and they had 150 hunters show up. Not a whole lot of shooting. The December hunt should be better, but in my honest opinion they need to lay off the park for a few years.

I think I'm in the blue zone too. What ever zone is outside of the park. Last year was great, but I was inside the park. There was alot of deer taken and I took a nice doe. I'm looking for a buck this time.

Myself and two friends will be in the red zone Dec10th and 11th. We will probably park off of the road between where 300 cuts the red zone in half. I'm in a 98 GMC teal green pickup with a topper and yellow bear tag front plate. We will walk to the north east from there on horse trail W to set up. We scouted for five hours on Wednesday and only jumped two does. We didn't see many fresh tracks in the 2 inches of powder we had either. My better half talked to Carol at the Grub in Osgood tonight and said they had taken 80 deer the first hunt. Hopefully the muzzleloaders will be out in force and herd things our way over the weekend. Good luck to all, and stop to chat if youe see us!

I scouted the bluezone today. I went to where I sat last year just to make sure there was a little deer sign there. I saw quite a bit of rubs and I saw where they dug around looking for acorns. I also bumped a couple does out of a cedar thicket.

I wish all you guys good luck, I go by the park quite a bit via 50 and have seen quite a few deer since the rut began. I didn`t get all my hunt apps turned in in time this year but my buddy and I will be hitting all of them next year.
