Ive seen one very similar to yours but it wasnt that big around the bases, odd indeed. h.h.

just guessing it looks like his antlers never comletly shed down to his skull . you can see in the 1,st pic. where they grew around the old bases. and on the 3rd pic you can see the top of the pectal I think thats what you call it. I, m guessing this to be a very old deer to get bases that big. and just going down hill would of liked to seen him a couple of yrs ago. this skull was found by my son while rabbitt hunting on sugar ridge property. goes to show you what kind of bucks could be found on public ground happy hunting.
