I harvested a small doe, on thanksgiving. I told myself that the first deer in range would get donated to the hungry. I was using some cheap Rocky Mountain broad heads I got off of Ebay. Here is the link to the photos on my web page, I can never get pics to post correctly here. (tell me how and I will) I dont have pics of the deer yet just the huge trail. I got down right away because I saw blood spraying everywhere. www.pbase.com/jhlewis/hunting

What part of the State were you hunting where the woods were bone dry? I hunted Thanksgiving Day also and it was a steady rain all morning! Cool pics though.

Stueben County. It got down to like 25 deg and all the water froze up. I hunted Thurs and did not get soaked in the am and pm.
