I seen another site where a doe in Michigan was sent of for checking TB and report came back fine but said it was 17-1/2 years old. Didn't know they lived that long?

What a buck!
Deer can live to be over 20 years old in captivity, so that old of a deer is possible. It probably was having trouble eating and looked skinny is why they thought it had TB!
I've often thought that Indiana must have had some old does taken when bonus tags first became an option during the firearms season.

Correction to the title.....this deer actually came from Henry Co., Tn. The email I got it from was wrong......sorry.
Nice buck for Tn. though.
