I shot a doe on Thanksgiving, and after reading this I had to try it. We used a 4 wheeler. It worked good. At first it got hung up on the front legs, but all the sudden it let loose and just ripped the hide all the way down to the back legs. We got a good laugh out of it.

A friend of mine in West VA. did this, but he would use a chain. He said it didn't have as much tendancy to slip. For me skinning this is the worse part of processing. I might give this a try. parson
