Wow! What strikes me is that the string appears to still be in the groove!
Must have been a metallurgical issue of some kind. Do you see a void or or other flaw?
Is that a Martin? I bet they would replace that.
Glad it happened now and not some morning in October.

Martin will repair that for you. They will most likely check the limbs too and replace the bearings in both cams. If you want to just get a new bow, I gotta say check out the Limsaver deadzone. I got one and have been very satisfied. They aren't as pretty as some other bows but they perform great and are built solid. They have the best customer service IMO too. You can get an 08 dz-32 for about 450$ now too. Check out the classified section on www.archerytalk.comscott

Top limb is damaged and for sure I'd want new bearings and axles - there's enough damage there I have to think it would be cheaper just to pull one off the shelf and send it.

I got this PM on another site I haunt - talk about timing! "I HAVE A MARTIN SABER I LOVE, I HAVE HAD SOME TROUBLE. MY TOP WHEEL BROKE IN TWO PLACES. THINKING ABOUT GETTING A MOAB, OR MOVING TO SOMETHING ELSE. WHAT DO YOU THINK. HOW DO YOU LIKE YOUR MARTIN?"

Martin is going to send pretty much everything except the riser - which I'm OK with. I'm just surprised - figured it would be cheaper to send a new bow. I would think they'd pay Justin something for putting it back together.
