This AM I went to the range to sight in my 12 Ga Remington. A buddy of mine gave me several different brand 12 Ga Sabot slugs to shoot. First 2 shots were about 1 inch high at 50 yards, pretty good. Not changed from last year. Then shot several different brands of Sabots, could not believe how different each brand were grouping. All grouped well ,but all over the target. Some were as much as 16 inches from the bullseye! Then shot my original Sabots<Remington hollow point Sabots> and found them to be right on,1 inch high at 50 yards.
Just shows you need to shoot the Sabot slugs you sight in with.

I just did the same thing.
10 different kinds of slugs and 10 different impact points for the groups .... ranging from a little high/low or left/right to WAY high/low or left/right.

Pick one brand of sabot slug, that is the most accurate, and stick with that particular one. You'll save yourself a lot of money & heartache.
