My feet tend to get cold easy while deer hunting and I was wondering if a boot dryer might help. Anyone ever use one of these?
Thanks! Robert

Yes... wet feet = cold feet.
I use a drop in boot dryer form Norway and they do the job.
My cold weather boots are two sizes too big. I wear a polypropolene liner and a good pair of wool socks. - No cotton.
If you can't wiggle your toes good the boots are too tight for warmth..
You cant beat air as an insulator...

I have one of those Peet boot dryers and absolutely love it. Dry boots are critical if you want to stay warm. It also keeps my boots from stinking too much. My Wife hates it when I leave my boots in the hallway but she's getting better :-)

I agree, I have a peet boot dryer and it works great. Your feet sweat in boots and unless you get them dry you end up with cold feet. I wear a pair of nylon stretch socks and then a good pair of wool socks with either Rocky Snow Stalker Pac Boots or LaCrosse rubber boots. Buy wool socks with a minimum of 80% wool in them.
Last year after seeing show on how to keep you feet warm on stand, I finally tried it. I bought a pair of Ice Breaker boots, the big bulky kind that fit over your regular boots and cost about 50.00. Carry them to your stand and after your on stand remove your regular boots. Have a good pair of wool socks on and then put one of those 24 hours hand warmer packs in each one. I did this last year on the deer reduction hunt and sat on stand from 6AM til noon in 10 degree weather and my feet stayed nice and toasty. Matter of fact the second day those packs were still in the boots and i used the same ones again. No more cold feet for me. h.h.
