She got a little dust on her, put her away last year and got my deer with bow in late archery so she ain't seen much since light since. She is a 28" CVA Optima Magnum with a Bushnell Muzzeloader scope. She tagged me twice once at 167 yds (I got this on GPS to prove it) broke the back, open sights. Second was 75 yds heart shot. I always save the heart but this one I could barely find. (Got one now in my fridge marinating with small slice from the 100 grain Muzzy 31" 10.7g Carbon Express). I put the scope on last year but all I got in my site all year was target at the range. She is set at 80yds got 1 inch grouping with 3 shots two of the shots were hole in hole. I promised her I would never cheat on her with any shotguns after she made the 167 yd shot so I sold my other shotguns to prove my adoration. She is a beauty, black on black with a few little rust pits from them long days sitting in a treestand in the rain. It was painful to remove the open sites after she had proved herself but it was required for the new scope. I feed her 50 grain Pyrodex pellets two at time, with a Powerbelt plastic cone tipped, rear jacketed copper slug. I tried to feed here the 3 -50s but it caused a bigger explosion and a unstable flight arc, not to mention a sore shoulder. It seems I get a flatter more even shot with the 2-50s. Just wanted ya'll to meet my gun since that will be the first thing the deer meets this year. You now how first introductions can be.... you can make em or break depending on the action you take. VC
