It's bound to be getting close to my turn with all my hunting partners scoring big. I haven't put a tape on this one yet but I'm guessing mid 130's.

A truly nice buck. Good tine length, nice spread and man what a body and neck! Looks like that buck was definately in in the rut.

Nice buck, but what's with that "innie" on the left antler? Yeah, it's got a lot of character on that left side with the "innie" and the split G2. Guess I'm need to start wearing my Summit Contracting hat too like both my buddies.

Awesome buck! Great character!
If you're thinkin' of putting him on the wall (and who wouldn't?) be careful when you make that incision up the sternum... from the looks of that 2nd photo, you're right at the fringe of most shoulder mounts. It won't be a huge problem, but when I have a deer I know is gonna go on the wall I don't cut anything forward of the front leg. When I cape out for the mount I cut a circle from just in front of those front legs, all the way around. Just something to think about.....

After we found the deer I headed back to get the 4-wheeler and he started field dressing. When I got back the first words out of my mouth were "what were you thinking". Congrats! Nice work! How much did that dude weigh? 225 Dressed.
