I hear the woodcocks at dawn in their spring ritual. Peep frogs are out but think they'll go back next week. Saw a robin pull a nightcrawler out of the ground. But a sign a spring I hate too see is.......

I saw some crocuses coming up yesterday, with some daffodils coming up near them, but it isn't spring to me until I hear the Peepers.

Yep... the FIRST signs of Spring is in my nieghborhood... I can see some trash and treelimbs in MY yard the neighbor nevers picks up, I can hear his wife screaming at him to "GET OFF HIS LAZY A$$ and DO SOMETHING.." (You go lady!!!!) and of course, the BIGGEST SIGN OF ALL... I got my Stratos bass boat out of winter storage and sitting in the driveway ready to go fishing...( Be warned... it usually snows about 4" right after I bring it home....)
IT IS GETTING CLOSER THOUGH.. Bud Fields
