I've yet to get a resonable answere as to why your not allowed to use bonus antlerless tags on most DNR property even though they are full of does. I suppose this is why these properties are the hardest ones hit from the EHD (mother nature).
Maybe BSK would have some good info that would make sense.

You can shoot does with every weapon on those properties except with a firearms license. Archery, muzzleloader and late archery are all good for doe but as you state you cant tag them with a bonus tag. h.h.

I've read they state those properties already have enough hunting pressure that bonus tags are not required to manage herds.

Where i hunt at on dnr property, Ya it get alot of Hunting pressure, but only during Shotgun, when the Orange Army hits the woods. My opnion is it needs to be brought back to a better ratio, But there the pro's. I just dam glad to have Public Land to hunt?
