Couldn't they say that some kids shoot and apply this to ammo as well?

Hopefully lawmakers from states that manufacture affected products will get some amendments attached. I'm sure the people that want to keep kids "safe" from everything will think it's a great idea.
I will say that it probably doesn't matter, because as long as I drive down the road and see little kids that can barely reach the controls riding four-wheelers at high speed, helmetless & unattended, we are going to have those tragic acidents, like the recent one where the atv rolled over on the boy and suffocated him. Sooner or later one of these accidents is going to get a law passed that says only eighteen year olds can ride dirt bikes or atvs, lead-free or not--- anywhere, all because people don't have any sense. If we ain't real careful they'll get a helmet law for us adults that ride them at 5 mph to go get deer out of the woods.

Had a helmet law. Back when 3 wheelers were the atv's and most were less than 300's. How many here remember Honda Red. You had to have on a helmet to ride any type of motorcycle or 3 wheeler. That was in the 70's and 80's?

Why don't the manufacturers just use non-leaded paint? Seems an easy solution to me.

I do know that in the 70's you had to have a helmet to ride any motorcycle. Anytime, anywhere, any age. Lots of guys went over to Ill to ride their Harley's, Honda gold wings etc just so that they could ride without a helmet.
