Even if someone tracked world records, why would they think that deer even approached 200 inches? Have they never seen a pic of the Hanson buck, or the Jordan buck? That deer is probably 160 total with the drop tines added in. Awesome deer, but not a world record. Gimme a break!

IMO that deer is well north of 160" ..... without the drop tines. If the drop tines were counted it would flirt with 200".

This is an honest 201" buck.. Compare. Remember that the Texas or Mexico bucks are smaller bodied

The deer are much smaller bodied, and in this photo we got a dog for perspective. The texas deer is a whopper, but not even in the ball park of 200, even with two more drop tines than it has.

Just from a quick look....
8" G1's 12" G2's 10" G3's 8" G4's 27" main beams 20" inside spread mass measurements worth 22" per side.
Add it up.
Maybe Im wrong but it looks like a mid to high 180's to me. Without the drop tines.
Woody, did the deer you pictured gross or net 201"? I think gross score vs gross score the original deer is within 10-15" of the second deer even without the drop tines.

That is net. 201 5/8" if I remember correctly. It is the Ohio record typical.
