If someone was going to pay for you to go on one hunt, any hunt---anywhere it was legal, where would you go and what would you hunt?

Well, I have lots of dream hunts but, if someone was covering my costs well, hmmmm... Dang it's tuff to choose just one , would have to stew on it awhile as I would either want to go to Alaska for a fly-in a Moose / Dall Sheep hunt or...a horseback hunt smack dab in the middle of a very large wilderness for Elk, Muley and maybe Moose, probably up in Montana or Idaho. Time for either trip would of course be of no concern, in fact the longer the better.

I would love to hunt them all, but I picked elk. We had to do a project along these lines for our Hunter's Safety class in Jr. High. We had to write down every detail of our dream hunt including everything down to our socks. I loved it! I did mine and 3 of my buddies!

Already went on it. Africa, for 10 days on a plains game hunt. If somebody picked up the tab, it would be back to Africa for capebuff, leopard, and more plains game.

Elk would be good, Alaska would be good, but at least one of those anyways has a chance of actually happening one day. Since it's a freebie let's spend the big bucks and head for Africa for a plains and one of the big 5 combo hunt. (I kinds of have a desire to pick up a 375H&H anyway)

Have been on a bunch of dandy hunts; Alaska five times, western states, Canada, etc. , and have taken a good many of the north american species. The species is not what makes a hunt a great hunt, it's "the hunt" and the challenge of it that makes it a great hunt. Once you make the kill, it's over.
Guess if the sky is the limit, I'd like to have the entire fall off work one season, and a pocket full of tags to hunt whitetails and muleys with centerfire rifle in several western and plains states one fall. Hunt for a month or two straight.
Deer are my favorite, and there aren't many critters that are as impressive looking as a big, heavy muley buck, in my opinion. Plus they live in gorgeous country.
