Once again we get in to the debate on whether taking an animal in a pay preserve is actually hunting and I'll be more than happy to start to start it off with-IT'S NOT!!!!!!

What a loser! I wish deer would stop growing antlers for a few years so everyone would lose their antler lust and get back to deer hunting! It's sad.

If someone fences off a large chunk of land with no deer inside, then imports exotic animals and/or deer, do they have to obey the game laws?

I wonder how many guys would stop hunting if some disease gave all bucks teeny, stunted antlers for a year or two? You know, I like seeing and reading about monster deer and would love to shoot one myself, but I can't imagine setting up this elaborate scheme and paying 12,000 bucks to fake it just to (hopefully) impress people. Sad indeed.

I'm not exactly sure how it works here in IN. Whitetails I believe still must be shot during a regular hunting season from what I understand. Other non-natives/exotics I don't think are regulated. But I'm not for sure.
IMHO, high fence in pretty much ANY mid-western state is NOT fair chase.

Once again we get in to the debate on whether taking an animal in a pay preserve is actually hunting and I'll be more than happy to start to start it off with-IT'S NOT!!!!!! Texas is covered up with high fence - of course many of them encompass thousands of acres....

I'm sure this happens more than you might think.
Now wut if: I killed an Indiana buck, using my Indiana tag, but i paid someone for "insight" that may help me take a wild animal, that just so happens to make the state record book, wouldn't that me considered legit?

I could see paying a nominal fee for using an outfitter or guide service, but paying that outlandish of a price is completely insane. Then to try and pass it off as free range??? If he has that much money to throw around I can make him the worlds fastest set of bowstrings for a meager $1500 LOL
