I just got a call from friends of ours offering to let me hunt their land, it has never been hunted. They have the deer patterned already and it sounds like evening is the best time so I'm going to hunt it Saturday afternnon/evening. I told them I'd split the meat with them from whatever I take. He might gun hunt it so I may offer to sit with him and show him how to field dress etc. if he decides to do it. Our time is coming Dominators!

Hunting new ground is always exciting.
If we hunt the same ground year after year it gets to a point where we aren't really hunting all that much, but just shooting.
After a few years we usualy have the deer all figured out and know where to set the stands - usually in the same tree it was in the year before.

What you said is very true Woody. I've been wanting a crack at that property for a while now, I feel fortunate to get the offer and I'll try to make it worth their while. Don't know what the animals look like there I just know there are plenty, so we'll see. It would be fun to go out with him and help him get his first deer, I'm looking forward to doing that as well - if he decides to do it. At least he has been out with the 12GA practicing.
