I was about ready to cry walking out last night. I had a great last 16 days hunted all day every day. Didnt see many deer but I did get another 192 hours in the woods and I hunted everyday of the season this year.. I should be around 620 hours for the year when I get time to figure it up.

That is truly amazing. Will you continue going to the woods with a camera?

I don't understand how you do it. I like to hunt but that would burn me out I think.

Unless you have a few thousand acres, you might see more deer if you hunted less. No deer herd is going to tolerate that much continuous intrusion unless you are invisible, hover to your stand, and have no scent. I hunt a ton compared to most because I can, but not that much, and I have a lot of different spots to where I can hunt a fresh area in late archery.

Oh here we go. First during early archery I will only hunt the same stand/woods once during a 7 day period. On weekends I hunt in the SE part of the state and will only sit the same stand once during the weekend. During gun, I hunt out of my barn loft that over looks a picked corn field and my food plot. I can get in and out without being seen. Sorry I can hunt so much guys. No I dont get burned out. We only get 90-100 days a year to do it.

Amazing. My hat is off to you.
I put in a bunch of hours each season but not even a blip on the radar compared to you.

This kind of junk is why I dont post how many I see or if I kill one. First thing people say is post a picture. You might as well say your a liar and I need a picture to believe you. I could step on an ant and someone would say post a picture. I have better things to do than lie about how much I hunt and the amount of time I spend in the woods. I love to be in the woods what does it matter how much I hunt. This is suppose to be a place to share not criticize.

I hope you dont think I was offering anything other than admiration .... because I wasnt.
My comment was sincere.
I remember watching the Jim Shockey episode where he sat on stand all day for 30 straight days to have an opportunity to kill a particular buck ...... I remember thinking that is what separates guys like him from me. I couldnt do it. Wish I could ..... but I couldnt.

Man that buck tag soup tastes really great this year. A little "Greek Seasoning" will give that Tag a little more flavor! ;D

Thanks for the advice. I didnt see as many this year the last 2 weeks of the season 112 as I did last year the last 2 weeks right around 160 I beleive, I have it written down at home. It was just slow. Good luck.
