Updated: Dec 23, 2008 12:20 PM EST
Hamilton County - Police in Fishers arrested a 13-year-old and 15-year-old for burglary.
A homeowner in the Brooks Chase subdivision near 131st and Brooks School Road told officers someone rang his doorbell and ran off around 3:00 am Sunday morning.
Police found a 13-year-old boy who matched the suspect's description. At the same time, another homeowner in the neighborhood reported a break-in.
Investigators say someone smashed a back window, ransacked the house and stole several items.
Police found those items at the 13-year-old's home. Officers also arrested a 15-year-old in connection with the crime.

ERS There were 4 kids arrested for breaking into several cars last winter (well this past Feb) and they got 2 of my cars. Funny thing I was up and outside at 3am checking snow/ice situation and nothing 3:45am I went out started truck and realized I had been hit! When leaving neighbor hood you could see foot print and tire tracks all over......anyway they were leaving my neighborhood in an Avalanche when I was leaving didn't know it was them but several others were hit worse then me. They hit several neighborhoods in a hurry....funny thing they took between 2 vehicles only $15 in change from me, but others computers, etc. If would catch someone in that act I would load them with lead so quick. I have been robbed 3 times total and you feel so violated it is unreal. I understand being down and out, but kids come on! The kids that got arrested for this string of robberies were from Franklin Twp area and their families had money just like these kids. I seriously can't stand theives, taking what is someone elses, well as I said if I ever caught someone in the act it would be bad news for them!

I totally agree with you, thieves are the worst! I have no material goods in my house worth risking a life for these young thugs are just lucky they did not pick the wrong house and get a crash course in what the "castle doctrine" is all about ****ERS There were 4 kids arrested for breaking into several cars last winter (well this past Feb) and they got 2 of my cars. You know and Fishers is a nice area.... we thought about moving there but decided that for the money we are saving living between fishers and castleton we can buy our house sooner and the area is just as "safe" although not as pretty....
I am not sure if it was last year or the year before but my truck got hit during a big snow storm... they could not get in because the doors were locked and then they shoved a screw driver in to the locks it just locked them down completely..... did not stop them from ruining the locks on both sides though....
Good thing they couldn't get in too...because the night before I had to run by work and you can't carry there... so I threw my 9mm under the seat and locked the doors.... when I got home I forgot to grab it on my way in... so when I remembered about it (at like 4am) I ran out to get it and found my locks busted.....
