Aw no worries someone in their infinite wisdom will close those plants and move those jobs to Mexico then our air will be cleaner. Who needs jobs, certainly we don't as we continue to legislate and "free trade" ourselves into the poor house.

Studies have shown that 40% of our air pollution comes from outside our borders, can you spell Mexico?

Studies have shown that 40% of our air pollution comes from outside our borders, can you spell Mexico? That's precisely my point. We pass all these environmental laws to clean up our air then these companies just move south of the border and continue the same practices. We still get the pollution but lose the jobs.

China and other asian nations contribute substantially more to our air pollution than Mexico, the prevailing winds come from the west not the south, but the majority(60%) still comes from within our own borders.

Here's the problem that (R)s just don't seem to get:
Any law that an (R) comes up with will be used against The People by the (D)s sooner than later.
And vice-versa.
"You do not examine legislation in the light of the benefits it will convey if properly administered, but in the light of the wrongs it would do and the harms it would cause if improperly administered. " LBJ (who never listened to his own speeches...)
