This is the biggest one I have ever found. I saw it last Sunday when scouting at Turkey Run State park area #1. Yeah, I shot a buck and a couple does there monday as well.

As a side note thats a full size day pack leaning against the tree, no trick photograpghy. I measured the rub in the center and the tree was 42 inches around!

I saw a nice 8 point rub a great big old oak tree in Archery season. This tree is over 3 feet in diameter. He rubbed it for about 2 minutes. Didn't leave any visible signs of a rub, but he definitely did rub it.
Never seen one like that pine. I have seen rubs similar to the original poster. Keep an eye on that rub to see if the 10 pointer was the only one making rubs there.

Hey Scrub.... that is a nice rub for sure... and Adeeden.... That is a huge rub.... but the size of the tree can not always be trusted.... I had a ridge that I was hunting a couple years ago.... I stayed on that ridge and hunted it hard... all because some big trees were rubbed up.... Finally I saw the deer that was doing it... and I would not have believed it if I had not seen it with my own two eyes..... a spike buck came in on opening day of gun season and proceeded to rub every tree that had markings on that ridge... freshened up all the scrapes.... and then headed down to the bedding area looking for does.... I thought it was just a little deer trying to act like the big boy on that ridge.... kept at it same ridge and 3 more times I saw that same spike come up and rub those trees and freshen those scrapes...

Multiple bucks will use the same rubs, so just because a small buck rubbed those trees does not mean a big buck won't be along.

I wasn't thinking that it was a monster buck that did that, I just thought it would be cool to see him move from branch to branch all the way around the tree.
