WW - A Chicago anti-gunner.WASHINGTON -- Democratic officials say Illinois Rep. Rahm Emanuel has been offered the job of chief of staff in the administration of President-elect Barack Obama. It is not known whether Emanuel has accepted. Update - He has..The disclosure came one day after Obama was elected president in an electoral college landslide. He takes office Jan. 20 as the first black president, and the 44th overall. Obama is a former aide in Bill Clinton's White House. He was re-elected to Congress on Tuesday. He was a Freddie Mac board member. WW - How about that? The fox comes back to the chicken roost.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rahm_EmanuelDuring his original 2002 campaign, Emanuel "indicated his support of President Bush's position on Iraq, but said he believed the president needed to better articulate his position to the American people."[9] Inspired by his pediatrician father, one of the major goals he spoke of during the race was "to help make health care affordable and available for all Americans."[9] Emanuel has maintained a 100% pro-choice voting record and is generally liberal on social issues. He has aligned himself with the Democratic Leadership Council and the party's centrist wing, but is not among its more conservative members. Rahm Emanuel endorses the United States Public Service Academy Act. Emanuel is one of the more prominent members endorsing the act.

I'm waiting for him to name William Ayers his secretary of education. Being married to a teacher who hates her job (for various reasons), this may send her over the edge..... If (more like WHEN) this happens, we may be looking at home schooling somehow.
