Does that mean bringing back the WPA, and the CCC to give people jobs and work on needed federal and state projects. Roads, bridges, forestry? Although the WPA ponds that gave places to fish for the next 50 or 60 years were pretty good.

Don't know. One thing it will most probably include is more government and more welfare. Two things this country could use less of.

The more I think about it, the more I would have to say that these projects would not be included. Back in the days of New Deal I, we still had the bulk of the workforce in Agriculture. Today, when the goobermint talks about new resources the discussion inevetably shifts toward provided programs and resources for inner city residents.

People today are too stupid, lazy, and have no skills. They couldn't possibly put together a full crew of people who could do those projects the way they did back then. Take a close look at those buildings they put up, walls, and trail projects they did with "unskilled" labor in the CCC 70-80 years ago and tell me where the would get people who COULD and who WOULD to that work today? Now if they can get it done with a joy stick standing next to the snack buffett or just type out a work order and get it done you'll be in fine shape.

Go to some inner city these days and say, "Hey, come with me, I'll give you a paycheck--- you just have to work for it by helping build bridges and roads."
Yeah, right. Good luck Kerry!
