McCain campaign writes off Michigan, turns to Indianawww.wthr.com/global/story.asp?s=9118663&ClientType=PrintableWashington DC- Republican presidential candidate John McCain is giving up on Michigan as his campaign tries to regroup in the face of dominating economic issues. In addition to conceding the battleground state to Democrat Barack Obama, the McCain campaign signaled that it would counter Obama's efforts in Indiana. Indiana hasn't voted for a Democrat since 1964. But surveys show a competitive race after Obama spent months pouring money into the state. Michigan, with 17 electoral votes, went for Democrat John Kerry in 2004, but Republicans had made an effort to try to place it in their column this year. Separately, a Saint Anselm College Institute of Politics poll shows Obama leading McCain by double digits in New Hampshire. (Copyright 2008 Associated Press. All rights reserved. Of course the MSM sees this as the McCain camp faltering. They will play it up, BUT....
Michigan has went Democrat for 30 years..Why waste recsources there?
Indiana has went Republican for 34 years. Obama is wasting resources in Indiana.
Obama had said that he would win Georgia by registering 200,000 new black voters. He has now puilled out of Georgia. Why was that not reported in the MSM?
If a state is lost, it is lost. Better to put time and resources in state that are borderline tossups.
