Maybe this can be useful. I will start:
County:Owen
Have seen a lot of green acorns on the ground from all the heavy winds of late. The few brown ones were rotten inside. A friend reports tonight that acorns have been dropping on his shed and has seen does working on them the last 2 days.
How are your acorn crops? Include county and what type acorns are falling if possible. Thanks! ;D

For what it's worth I'll give my report from Ontario. The red oaks have been dropping since late August with a very heavy mast, the pin oaks have just started, but we have very few of theese. The white oaks have just started but there are lots in the trees. When out driving we are seeing very few deer in th ecrop fields iin the evenings. I'm thinking there is so much in the bush right know no since in going out in the open.

Lots of small green white oak akerns fallin right now. Seeing a good mast in southern owen, including a first timer persimmon tree! Found something that looked like a big cherry on the ground, it was next to a wild cherry tree, but I didn't think they produce fruit, couldn't find the source. The woods are hot right now and will be that way for a while unless you got late beans.

Watched two does last night at my parents house in Brown County eating white acorns like crazy. They were like a couple of sweepers back in the woods.

My area in southern Brown county: I didn't see a single white oak dropping any acorns. Red oaks producing well. Chestnut oaks are dropping more acorns than I've ever seen before.

Our woods in Northern Brown County are full of acorns.
It's almost hard to walk without slipping on them

Here in my part of Dubois county the acorns are spotty. Plenty in some areas and none in others. If next years crop of red oaks does as well as the limbs on the ground indicate it is going to be a very good one.

They were falling during the winds pretty good last sunday when i was scouting. They were a pretty brown color and some green but few and far between. Plenty of the red berries on the ground too. Don't know what there called to be honest.
This is my report from Floyd / Harrison county.
