I saw a 10 pointer and the big boy I have pictures of tonight and they are both hard horned now. I haven't seen them in about 10 days and they weren't hard horned then obviously...anyone seen any hard horned?

It is September, I've found fresh rubs in the end of August. The more testosterone they have, the sooner they lose velvet. That had to have gotten the blood pumpin!

yep, saw a six point last weekend in southern indiana and saw a couple here in indy at our urban sight all were out of velvet.

No hard hornes yet, saw 3 small bucks last night in velvet. But the sighting of hard horns gets me goin even if I am not the one seein them.

Everything I am seeing is still in velvet as well. Glad some are seing them without it though.

Hard horns?  Can't say that I 've ever seen one in my life. Quite a few hard antlers, but no hard horns....... Sorry, I couldn't help myself. |
