They announced on ABC last night that all Deer hunters in Indiana should go to Hancock county this coming season. However CBS and NBC countered that there surveys show that The ABC announcement was flawed because it was politically motivated.

I would presume Hancock is similar to Rush county in deer numbers. Low, Low, Low. However, there are "pockets" of deer, that if you are lucky enough to be able to hunt those areas, should be able to produce. If you are not in one of those areas, you may spend days without so much as a sighting. Believe me!

I would say Yaz is correct. I have hunting Hancock county for years and most of the area is fields and small woods. Good for bow but when the crops are down it might be hard to find deer in some areas.
