Wow-It`s been so long since I`ve squirrel hunted........I have an OLD Remington 552 SpeedMaster. Bought it in 1980-the year my twin son and daughter were born. I`ve killed a TON of squirrels with that great little rifle. I started squirrel hunting back before deer were plentiful throughout most of the state. I started hunting the big fox squirrels that inhabit the central part of the state. Ate them for breakfast, lunch and dinner too. But then I hunted some grey squirrels, ate those, and even though most disagree, the greys tasted better. So IF I squirrel hunt today, I`ll kill greys or nothing.
But anyway, what a great old time the memories of old squirrel hunts takes me back to.

After years of talking about it, tomorrow I am finally bringing home my first .17hmr in a Savage. Has anyone tried Hornady's 20gr XTPs? I need to get optics and range time pronto!

Cool targets.
I just had my ML squirrel rifle out the other day. It should be a fun season. ;D
