I'm still looking at a Puma in .44. Strictly Shooting in Evansvile has a few on hand. The Ruger will be my go to deer hutning gun, but a lever would be fun to play with - and maybe pop a doe or two with. After much deliberation, I have decided that I will be purchasing a Puma, probably in stainless, in 454. The 480 intrigues me, but the ballistics of the 454 just go so far past those of the 480 that my priority has to be with the 454. Of course, all this barring running into a deal too good to pass up on a 44 or 480..........lol As it stands, the 454 is at the very top of my 'guns to buy when I can' list. ;D

For you fellas such as Woody, JohnSmiles and the like, interested in getting a Rossi 92, whether it be the Puma (LSI), Hartford (EMF), or the Navy Arms (whatever they call them) and want or are interested in slicking these fine rifles up, Steve Young (AKA Nate Kiowa Jones) is now offering a complete how to DVD for 29.95. Steve is considered by many to be the Rossi 92 specialist and he knows his stuff. For you guys that like to tinker and do you own work (they are easy by the way) and make your guns Rock-N-Roll, this DVD is for you. I talked to Steve earlier and while I was on the phone the first shipment of DVD's arrived. So they are now available......Steve. www.hznproductions.com/HZN/
