With a bit less than 3 months to go, is anyone else looking foward to the challenge of chasing these sneaky little guys? In the woods I hunt their are a ton of foxes and greys and I plan on spending more time chasing them this year than in seasons past. Anyone have any new rimfires that you are looking foward to chasing them with?

Hopefully, I'll be squirrel hunting until the good lord takes me. I love chasing bushytails. So many fond family and friend memories.

I am looking forward to season too.... I will be living about 15 minutes from my hunting property this year instead of an hour... so I will be able to go more often. I use a very old Remington bolt action 22. It was my grandpa's until he passed away almost 2 years ago. Now technically it is my mom's but she will not take care of it.... so she asked me to "hang on to it" for her and put it to good use.

I was weaned on squirrell hunting back in the late 60's with my Dad. Used to take vacations to hunt the squacks that i now use on turkeys. You show me a good & persistant squirrell hunter & i will show u a good turkey hunter. Probally have bagged a couple thousand in my years. Gettin ready for Ky's spring squirrell that lasts only 2 weeks in June(7th-20th i believe)!

hey guys, squirrel hunting is the best way to teach a youngster to start out hunting and just have them tag along to see and learn about outdoors. i'm going out on the limb on this statement " good squirrel hunters make better deer and turkey hunters'!!!!!".......TAKE A YOUNGSTER ON YOUR NEXT OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE.....turkey scout

I will have my 2 year old son taggin along with me this year. It is going to be great just to have him out in the woods with me to start teaching him about being a hunter and a woodsman.

I picked up a Contender Super 14 22LR match barrel for hunting squirrel this year. It has been a long time since I took a bushy tail.

Looking forward to it. It will be a change from hunting Ca. ground squirrels. I think I will use my .32cal frontstuffer. Any excuse to make smoke is good in my book ;D. My boys can use their .22's
