I have had my tomatoes in for a while. I brought them back from Alabama when I was down there on spring break. I already have blooms and some small tomatoes forming. I will start my pumpkin patch in about 2 weeks.

I also started my first batch of compost for the year on Sat. My asparagus is going nuts. I am picking 80-100 stalks every other day.

I sprayed mine down, if it would quit raining down here I could turn it over and get planted.

Just got my tomatoes in earlier today, as well as a single hill of zucc's. Goal for the rest of the day is to get potatoes and peppers planted. Hopefully I'll be able to bring home a load of compost from work tomorrow or Tuesday to actually get hills made for the potatoes. They seem to go bonkers with fresh compost, and not so well in regular soil... When I can get to the greenhouse again I'll pick up some bean seeds and some honeydew plants for the melon patch. I did manage to get the strawberry patch weeded yesterday- that was a chore! I've already got strawberries setting on, another couple of weeks and we'll have some to eat.

Last minute decision, mine will be tilled up Friday if ma nature lets me. Have to wait for a tiller. Otherwise this weekend would have been the time for me.
Plan is a handfull of maters, bell peppers, cucumbers, zuccini, cabage and what ever else to fill in the space. Next will be a fence to keep fido and other wildlife.

It's been raining down here too often for my soil to drain enough to till, so I used my posthole digger to set some tomatoes.

Got mine finished up today. Hope to get a fence finished by next weekend to keep the dog/kids/varmits out. Got everything in that I needed in there, maybe not all that I wanted though.

Finally got mine in. Lots of peppers for salsa and tomatoes. Also trying Muskmelon this year. It will probably take over the whole garden like my pumpkins did two years ago. Those things moved a foot per day it seemed.

My tomatoes are starting to bloom like crazy. Sunflowers and pumpkins are staring to take off real good now as well. I planted 13 tomato plants, so when they start producing I will have plenty of tomatoes to go round for the entire family.
