I know the choices aint much but will you please pick one? It really seems the Democrat party is steam-rolling, if they can carry this momentum into November, McCain may be in trouble. With that said, if we had to live with one of the above in the White House, ?...................

I can't vote for either one, because the possibility is simply unthinkable. Obama will win the nomination. His base consists of young adults and blacks. McGovern lost an election by a landside with that base. I predict a win for McCain.

As I said earlier with the failing economy and high fuel costs people will go to the poles this fall angry and vote out all the incumbents. I suspect you will see history made with the first black president. h.h.

I'm with hh on this one. I think there will be a lot of incumbent "toast", come Nov. Sure am sick of voting for the least of all evils. Been pretty much a staunch Republican all my life, though I have never voted a straight ticket. Don't like the demos, nor the reps. this year. Not been impressed since the Iraq war started[shades of Vietnam come to mind]. Special interest groups are KILLING this country no matter who's in charge. It IS time for a change.....

Young idealists don't go to the polls in any numbers capable of electing Obama.
No matter who wins the election, they won't be able to to anything about gas prices.
I've heard a rumor that Bloomberg might get a look for Obamas running mate. As if Obama wasn't bad enough.

Chico, It doesn't matter if they can/will do anything about fuel prices most people are angry with the state of affairs of this country and will show it this fall, especially if gas is 4.00 or more a gallon. h.h.

I would go for Obama, why? I believe Hillary is too set and is a hard core left winger! Obama I believe maybe more open? Again just answering the poll question, no way in you know what I'd vote for these 2 (expect) in the Primary :-)

Actually Obama has the most liberal voting record of any current senator - not that it matters much which one of them would get in. This is the most pathetic bunch of presidential candidates there has ever been in my almost 50yrs. of existence!

Obama is a young charismatic speaker. He talks a good show.
His record proves otherwise in bring the parties together. He has never worked with anyone "across the aisle" .
The following that he is getting is mostly black and young. Not too sure how that will hold up in the general election. I'm afraid there will be a great racial devide in this country that we have not seen in a long time
He is scary in that he is a far left. Even further left than Ted Kennedy.
Another thing that scares me, besides he wants to ban all semi-autos, is his willingness to pull all the troops out of Iraq and basically hand the enemy a victory.
The enemy is counting on him to win and then they win too....

We all need to remember no matter who becomes POTUS; we need to stay involved in Government. We loss the General Election than we need to work Congress. No way do we need to back down.

Lefty Liberal worse than Clinton in the Presidency, with a liberal congress. Say a big hello to the Brady Bunch and good bye to a lot of your firearms, if not all. Not a big fan of McCain but he will get my vote. Obama wins pray. Pray hard.

Over the past weeks I've been to several Hillary and several Obama rallies. One need look only at the people that come out in support of "their" candidate to help guide them in that choice of two evils.
Obama crowds run 60% black of all ages, the white attendees are < 30 years old, 20% are what I classify as "freaks", 20% are new-age hippie types and the rest are Prius driving, "Green" loving yuppies that watch Qu.eer Eye and The View. -- and no, I'm NOT being silly.....that is a true assessment of the crowds.
Clinton crowds run 75% white, they skew 35+ on age although she too has a decent college voter support but not near what Hussein has. When you look through the crowd you can see 10% that look VERY liberal, only 2% have that "FREAK" look about them, perhaps 1% are new agers. For the most part her crowd appears to be more representative of America.
The fact alone that these ultra-left liberals and hippie freaks look up to Hussein is enough for me to want Hillary more than Hussein. It's a razor edge of a decision I know....you can cut your throat either way you go. Both are Socialists and take their platform straight from the Communist Manifesto. Hussein scares me even more because his rallies turn into something that have the feel of Castro screaming towards his minions. The rally in Indy on Monday night was VERY frightening. This man will promise ice storms in Death Valley if he thinks it will get him a vote. You ask for it, he will promise it. I feel my blood pressure rise when I am near him......it truly is scary.
Hillary too is a Marxist, but as much of a power-hungry bi*ch that she is I sense less evil in her than him. We are all jaded by the Clinton's and rightfully so.....and I think that's why many of "us" want to bury the Clinton regime once and for all. All I can say is that I feel that Hussein Obama will set this country back 2 decades in terms of social programs for anyone who wants it, redistribution of wealth to the lazy, and bigger government in every aspect of your life. Hillary will try also, but I think that Congress knows what she is about and will stop her efforts, conversely I think that Hussein Obama will get a honeymoon and have things pass through more easily than Billary.
I wasn't at all happy with Maverick McCain, but he's head and shoulders above Billary or Hussein Obama.

I agree completely with Travis.
Somebody on another site I visit boiled it down to the basics......you have a liberal lawyer with a liberal lawyer wife, another liberal lawyer with a liberal lawyer husband, and an honest-to-gosh war hero married to a blonde with a beer distributorship. Where's the contest?
