It was far from a text book hunt. Hunted w/Mark Taylor. He had his bow and camera, I had my gun, and we used Mark's double bull blind. Lots of gobbling. First we see a jake, hoping it wold get close enough for a bow kill but he seem nervous. Then a tom came in, he wasn't going to get any closer so I shot him w/the gun, but I didn't hit him very good. Luckly I shoot things better when they fly. We stayed put and left my bird lay where he fell. Another tom came in. He was very cautious, and took a long time to come in. The way we were seated in the blind, Mark had to shoot the camera, and the gun. Here is my 18.5 lbs limb hanger. ![](http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t235/quackingtims/Turkey/P5040327.jpg) And here is what Mark shot. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Ain't it a beauty. ![](http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t235/quackingtims/Turkey/P5040329.jpg)

To be fair to Mark. He was in a tough spot. That second bird was very cautious. It took a very long time for him to make his way to us, and he was not very impressed w/the decoys. Because of the way we were seated, Mark had to put the camera on the bird, then try to shoot the bird before he moved. If that bird would have been in front of us for me to run the camera, I'm sure Mark would of put a tag on him. Instead, it's just a fun story to tell. It was a lot of fun hunting w/Mark and I hope to do it again.
