I'm starting to see a pattern here, deer in you face during turkey season and turkeys run all over the place during deer season. Had 2 does come in on me this morning, and they just kept coming. Finally at 15yds. 1 sees me through a few trees and brush, doesn't know what I am does the stomp/blow drill then stays there and blows sporadically wandering around a 20yd area. The 2nd one is oblivious or just doesn't care. The first one comes back to within 10yds of me and starts blowing at my decoys! Finally they leave. 
They next appearance is by 2 yotes, possibly checking out the call? They're out about 50yds. and me with no rifle. It's now pushing 10am I figure this morning is shot, oh well at least there was activity.
